Fascinating! My family was displaced by the 1963 extension of the Mass Turnpike, and were given 30 days notice to vacate. Most insulting was the instruction to not remove any fixtures or trees from the property!

Hello, My grandfather is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in the 1950's. (He was from China and did not have many family members in Boston). We are thinking of making arrangement to have his ashes transfer to Toronto, in Canada, to be buried beside his wife who recently passed away. Can you provide me with some information or direction of how it can be done.
thanks,
May

very interesting look into your perspective`s in life...truly the mind of one, is not in tune with that of another, at all times...the way we perceive one another, is the way we are taught in life by our peers...as to how we handle our thoughts, well this is the process that makes us, who we are...thank you, for sharing this, was very pleased to to see into your insights...truly a wise man.

Adam, you have been consistent in describing the ethnicity of the people you encountered such as Crazy Ming, the students in your class, etc... No problem here.

I can see your point of view. But I disagree. I think it does matter for the context of the story. When you read the bit about quoting "Kong Tzu" or being a Japanese Samurai I think the question of what ethnicity the people saying these things were would pop into your mind. So it kind of does matter. If they were not Caucasian but something else I would have pointed that out as I do in my other posts about Chinese people because it is part of the story. In fact I am surprised that nobody has brought my "tainted eyes" on any of those posts. Maybe the fact that I didn't point out that my own appearance is that of a full Caucasian was also part of the story that mattered as well. My omitting that may have changed the story.. or did it?
What are other people's thoughts on this?
