A Candlelight Vigil for Mumbai:
Remembering Friends, Family and all those lost and hurt in the Mumbai, India Terrorist Attacks
Thursday, December 4, 6pm at City Hall Plaza
The Asian American Commission of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Boston City Councilor Sam Yoon will host a Candlelight Vigil on Thursday December 4, 6 PM at City Hall Plaza to support those who suffered in Mumbai and to counter those who seek to spread hate, violence and division.
Dozens of Indian American and Asian American organizations will be joined by interfaith leaders and elected officials on Boston City Hall Plaza. Candlelight Vigils will be held simultaneously at the Worcester City Hall 6-7pm and at the Providence, RI Statehouse from 6-8pm. Speakers will include local elected officials and faith leaders.
